We created a compact pitch-and-putt at The Albatross Estate & Golf Links that plays realistically and looks gorgeous. The centerpiece is a replica of the #17 hole at TPC Sawgrass, built true to spec with matching undulations and subtle breaks for authentic putting lines.
Project Details: 3,800 sq ft across three putting greens, three custom tee boxes, a cart path, and a recreation area.
To achieve the clean look and playability, we used a mix of finishes — white and blue turf for visual contrast, a professional-grade putting surface, fringe cut for the collar, and rough cut for surrounding areas. The greens were sculpted and built on a performance base for consistent ball roll and realistic reaction across every contour.

A 600 sq ft cart path was installed using grey turf with black thatch for a natural, low-maintenance look. A custom all-black infill was used to enhance the aesthetics, and custom tee markers were fabricated to match the installation’s yardage. The crew worked through snow and ice at one point to keep the schedule on track, a testament to the installation expertise we bring to the project.
Every turf project starts with a solid foundation. Our crews build each surface on a precision-engineered base that supports proper drainage and consistent ball reaction. Every contour, seam, and cut is shaped and fitted by hand to create a clean finish that plays true and lasts. It’s the kind of detail that separates a Southwest Greens installation from a standard turf job.

We also added 1,300 sq ft of turf over the helipad and created a recreation area that wraps the hot tub and stargazing bubbles. This helps make the space useful for play and leisure year-round.
The golf experience doesn’t stop outside — an indoor simulator space adds another layer of play, perfect for all-weather practice or friendly competition after a round on the pitch. Rain and snow can’t stop this kind of play!
